The combination of pineapple, orange, and lime juices give it a tropical flavor that is perfect for summer and beyond. Since there’s no alcohol involved, this mocktail can be enjoyed by all ages! Make a single serving to enjoy as a fun treat or whip up a big pitcher to serve a crowd.
It requires little prep time and only a handful of ingredients, so you can whip it up in no time!
This light and fizzy pineapple mocktail pairs perfectly with Grilled Brie, this watermelon board, or chips and cherry salsa. Honestly, I’d drink it with just about any Dinner recipe as well!
Why you’ll love this recipe:
Ingredient Notes
- Pineapple juice– Pure 100% juice.
- Lime juice– Freshly squeezed lime juice yields the best flavor.
- Orange juice– Stick with an all natural brand, also 100% orange juice, that doesn’t have added sugar or preservatives. If you’re up for it, you can also juice your own oranges.
- Ginger beer– Choose a good quality ginger beer. Fever Tree and Q are excellent, my all time favorite is Reeds zero sugar, just because it’s healthier and uses stevia.
- Ice– I like whole cubes for this drink because they don’t melt as fast and therefore won’t dilute the drink as quickly.

This pineapple mocktail is all you need to get through the heat of summer. But it’s also delicious and satisfying all year long! Not to mention, it’s a bubbly beverage anyone can enjoy.
Tips & Tricks
- A citrus press is great for juicing the lime and/or oranges.
- Get the most juice out of your limes by placing them on your counter and firmly rolling them back and forth several times with the heel of your hand. This helps encourage the segments to burst and makes extracting the juice easier.
- Start with chilled ingredients to keep your drink cold longer and the ice from melting as quickly.
- Using a cocktail jigger is an easy way to measure out the ingredients.
Garnish Ideas
Adding a garnish makes the drink stand out. Here are some easy-to-do ideas.
- Sugar Rim– Use classic granulated sugar or larger crystals to decorate the rim of the non-alcoholic drink.
- Fresh Fruit– This is what we did, cut some pineapple wedges and/or lime wheels, add a slit and slide onto the side of the glass. Alternatively, you can drop them right into the drink.
- Citrus Peel– Use a spiraled or sliced peel (orange peel or lime peel) to hang on the edge of the glass or placed in the glass. Use a vegetable peeler or citrus peeler tool to slice off some of the peel. wrap it around a pencil or your finger to encourage the spiral shape.
- Dehydrated Fruit– Many upscale restaurants and bars use dehydrated fruit to dress their cocktails. For a modern and hip appearance, try this fun trend!
- Grilled Pineapple– A sweet grilled pineapple wedge on the rim of this mocktail is especially fitting for a summer cookout.
This tropical mocktail has multiple fruits inside, giving you more room to be creative. Use all or just one of the fruits to elevate the presentation when hosting or celebrating with family and friends.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, ginger beer is not the same as ginger ale. Ginger beer is a non-alcoholic beverage that is robust and spicy. It is typically fermented with yeast before being carbonated. Ginger ale is a carbonated soft drink with a less pronounced ginger flavor and much sweeter than ginger beer.
Yes, you can use ginger ale in place of the ginger beer if you prefer a less pronounced ginger flavor and a much sweeter result.
Yes, you can easily make a pitcher of this mocktail. Simply multiply the recipe by the number of servings you’d like to make. Add all of the juices to a large pitcher and keep it chilled in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to serve, pour the juice mixture over ice and top with the ginger beer.
Storing and Freezing Tips
This mocktail is best enjoyed freshly made because of the carbonation. However, if you have leftovers, it won’t hurt to store it in the fridge for a couple days. It will loose it’s fizziness though. I don’t recommend freezing this.

Thank you so much Jennifer! I’m glad you both enjoyed it. I love the addition of fresh sliced ginger- yum!!
This was a delicious and refreshing recipe! Super simple to make and has just the right amount of sweetness. Mid way thru drinking it, my husband added a few slivers of fresh ginger to our glasses to add a bit more spicy ginger flavor. Delicious both ways but I did enjoy the added ginger slices.
I couldn’t agree more!
Absolutely divine! This is the perfect refreshing drink for pineapple lovers!
